Aristotle: Nicomachean Ethics vi.5 . . . Practical Wisdom
This chapter was very difficult to read. It would probably help if I understood, let alone read, the first 5 books and 2 chapters of The Ethics but I'm reading just excerpts of the book right now so that I can have a better grasp of what Aristotle is getting at in The Metaphysics
Pratical wisdom is very similar to what we understand as common sense. It is the capacity someone has to act in order to promote "living well as a whole" (to be virtuous).
