Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration, OWA, and the blog.
This is just a little something I ran into that is really simple to fix so I figured I might as well make a post about it. In an effort to make Windows Server 2003 more secure than its predecessors Microsoft turns on
Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration by default. Which means that you will have to add most sites that you want to interact with to the Trusted Sites Zone; this includes any OWA servers you may be accessing and this blog. To do so just click “
File” then “A
dd this site to“, then “
Trusted Sites Zone” and type in the URL of the site you want to trust.
