Note: My knees have still been feeling a little sore so I skipped any cardio workout today. Also my foot hurts a lot from slipping out of the shower onto my cold, slate bathroom floor (ooopsss) so I'm not going to run till the end of February unless a doctor tells me I can run sooner. I'd really rather not apply 500lbs (5 times my body weight) of force onto my allready hurting foot for at least 3 miles. *I skipped this also b/c of my knees and its 2 hours later and my arms are sore from a great upper body workout and there is no pain in my knees :)...lets hope I'm saying the same come tommorow morning (*knocks on wood*)

I biked today for 20 minutes (~15 miles) and, wow, I'm out of shape when it comes to biking. While talking to a friend of mine who is also starting to train for a tri this summer I made an interesting discovery....I have been doing pushups all wrong. I honestly have no idea why in God's name I have been trying to do them with my hands close to my chest. Hoepfully this combined with the weird way I was doing standing bent-arm lat pulldowns is to blame for my elbow pain hours or day(s) after I lift. Tommorow I plan on swimming.

I swam this morning. My knees have been a little sore lately but I think I am going to blame walking through the snow and ice for at least 2 miles a day in sub-zero temperatures. Below is a summary of my workout:
- Warmup: 50 free/50 breast
- 500 free
- 100 kick
- Cooldown: 50 free/50 breast
- TOTAL: 800
