I just read an article at CNET talking about a partnership between Cisco and IBM with a focus on security.  This is sweet.  This is what I have been saying all along. Companies need to work together if security is going to get better.  If everyone has their own agenda nothing is ever going to get done.  Hats off to Cisco and IBM.  Now if only we could get Microsoft, Sun, Novell, Apple and Red Hat to work with them we'd be in good shape.
