Alright, so yeah I agree its cool that Google is offering 1GB of e-mail space...but seriously, this is getting out of hand.  An entire website has now been created to let people swap their Gmail invites for anything else you can think of.  The Simpson's episode where Homer sells his soul for a donut comes to mind.....in fact someone has allready offered there soul.
