New version of "family" website up and running
As I hinted a few weeks back, I've been reworking my "family" website to use rest2web. Well, the first version is now live and whilst there's obviously more to do, I'm impressed by the way in which it's allowed me to cleanly separate content, structure and presentation (as reStructureText, a template with Python support and CSS respectively).
Thanks to "fuzzyman" Michael Foord for such a useful app, and stay tuned for some Python scripting layered on top of it when I manage to get them tidied up a bit...
UPDATE: looks like my new found CSS skills need a bit of work, as it doesn't look to good in Firefox (nothing to do with rest2web, just my bad CSS!) so I'll see what I can do...
UPDATE2: A bit better now - I changed the DOCTYPE but I don't think that did much, but a "spacer" span seems to have helped. Still not quite the same as IE, though...
UPDATE3: Now I'm down to a one pixel difference - and even I'm not that picky!
